Alex has been practicing yoga for a decade and earned RYT-200 certification through Hot Yoga Experience. Her personal experience has been that a regular yoga practice offers many therapeutic benefits for physical and mental health. To this end, her goal is to create safe, balanced, and mindful practices that are enlivening for body and soul, and that are attentive to breath and functional alignment. She currently teaches power, hatha, and yin classes at Pineapple Life. Favorite pose: Ardha Chandrasana—a powerhouse of a pose that builds balance, stability, and core strength, and stimulates focus and willpower.
Originally from Ohio, Alex has spent most of her life in Scotland. Her grandfather was born in Seattle, her dad worked for Boeing in the 1950s, and family lore has it that her great-grandfather worked on the Snoqualmie Pass railroad. So it’s unsurprising that her heart tugged her toward Western Washington and to Snoqualmie in particular, where she has lived since 2007.
Alex initially trained and practiced as a trauma and orthopedics OR nurse in a regional trauma center in Scotland. She also has a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, where she conducted public health research and taught courses on gender, the body, and health. In addition to teaching yoga, she owns Thistle Editorial, LLC and develops education materials for healthcare professionals.
Alex loves the outdoors and is an active gal—swimming, running, hiking, kayaking. When she is not teaching yoga, she is hanging out with family and friends in the beautiful Snoqualmie valley, playing with her dogs, baking, jam-making, quilting, or knitting.
Anastasia is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga with her students. She began her own yoga journey over 20 years ago practicing at several Seattle and Eastside studios before deciding in 2015 to pursue her 200 Hour RYT training with her original teachers Tami Hafzalla and Jodi Boone at OmCulture, Greenlake. As a teacher, Anastasia guides both new and experienced students in dynamic Power, Hatha and Yin style classes. Her goal in teaching is to inspire students to discover the many benefits of a dedicated yoga practice in a safe and nurturing environment while offering challenges to help build strength and awareness. Off the mat, she enjoys travel, concerts, wine tasting, and spending time with her husband, two children and Bernese Mountain Dog.
Caroline loves all things health and fitness. She’s completed 3 full marathons and a some half marathons. She discovered barre 6 years ago and loves how it quickly changes a body for the better. Caroline loves the world of aerial yoga and loves to introduce this amazing fitness class to newcomers. She worked hard with Brandi to develop Pineapple Life’s awesome Kettlebooty program and is always thinking of new programs to introduce to our members. She is a huge music buff and likes to plan her classes around her ever changing playlists! When she’s not working to bring new retail into the studio Caroline likes to spend time with her family skiing, traveling and going to movies.
have my 200 hour RYT training through Living Yoga Teacher Training, and over 2 years of experience. My favorite styles to teach are Hot Power and Warm Yin/Chill/Flexibility. I don't have a favorite pose, but I do love hip openers. I've lived in Washington on and off for 5 years now -- I enjoy anything that brings me outside with my dog, Opie.
ERYT 500, ERYT 200, RYT 200 in Yoga Therapy, Barre & Pilates certified, bringing to the table over 10 years of teaching. My favorite type of yoga class to teach is a Yin & Yoga Nidra class, although I frequently teach, hatha, power, yin, yoga Nidra, fusion, yoga sculpt, aerial, kids, teens, and private yoga. You can also find me teaching a variety of Kettlebooty, Barre, Core & Pilates classes as well as a variety of related workshops. Being a health conscious vegetarian, my own personal daily yoga practice and daily meditation is a very important part of my life. I’ve dedicated my life to, and it is my passion to help and inspire others to live a healthy and more consciously evolved lifestyle. I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest the majority of my adult life and have been teaching yoga full time in Washington for 9 years.

When Not Teaching Yoga or her Other Eclectic Classes, Christina is an Avid Supporter of Seattle Children's Hospital, running her own Guild for research of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (A condition her Son was Born with).
In her Spare time, Christina likes to go for walks on any of the Many beautiful Trails in Wa., Photograph the Amazingness of Nature, Write/ Blog/ Record and Spend time with her Family of 4 Children and 1 Awesome Husband.
Gimena is an Argentinian native living in the Greater Seattle area since 2003. When not on theyoga mat, Gimena can be found spending time with her husband, two daughters and her dog Cujo! Her passion for yoga and healthy living is infectious. She believes that human bodies were made to move, and that is what she does all the time! You can frequently find her practicing yoga, hiking, skiing or paddleboarding! She truly believes in the physical and spiritual benefits of a consistent yoga practice. A few years ago, she had a skiing accident and neededreconstructive knee surgery; a daily and consistent yoga practice was a critical factor in her complete rehabilitation. Gimena believes that everybody, regardless of age, physical abilities and body type can find immense inner peace, health and fitness in a consistent yoga practice.
Gimena is an experienced yoga instructor registered with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200). She has taught numerous workshops in the local yoga community and she is an active instructor in several yoga teacher training programs and yoga retreats. She teaches from a place of playfulness and sparkle while challenging her students to find their physical edge! Her classes are vigorous but accessible to all levels of experience. Gimena enjoys teaching various yogastyles including powerful vinyasa and sculpt classes as well as slower pace styles such as Hatha and Yin Yoga.
My yoga journey began as a teenager growing up in New Mexico where my Mom first introduced me to a visual meditation and restorative yoga to help calm my anxiety. Over the years, I fell away from and came back to my practice but when my anxiety and stress increased in my career, I found my way back to my mat to reap the mental health benefits of a consistent practice. As a teacher, I hope to help others find the same mind body union and presence in the current moment that I have found so valuable in my own life. Most recently I have been practicing the art of slowing down; in thought, in communication, in work and of course on the mat! I teach both Vinyasa and Yin yoga and my current favorite way to practice is Yin. My favorite poses are any form of a heart opener; I love Dancer's pose, this challenging pose commands my attention while also making me feel graceful and beautiful. I completed my 200 hour Power Vinyasa training with CorePower Yoga in 2015 and completed my 50 hour Yin Yoga training with Bala Yoga in 2018. Outside of yoga I have a wonderful husband and a little dog named Pinot, she may only be ten pounds but packs a ton of personality! We love to hike, paddle board, ski and go wine tasting!
Kelly is a native of the PNW. She has lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for the last 20 years with her husband, two children and labradoodle. In her spare time you’ll find her running, hiking, skiing or boating. She has 13 years of classical ballet training. Her fitness career spans over 25 years and includes certifications in Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Body Pump, Group Power, ACE group training and most recently Pineapple Life Barre. If you have children in the Snoqualmie school district you make recognize her from Zumba after school enrichment classes at many local elementary schools. Or as one of the cross country coaches at MSHS. Kelly is looking forward to bringing her energy and love of dance to Barre and Kettlebooty classes at Pineapple Life. You never regret working out.I
After taking Barre classes for 3 years, I loved it so much that I decided to finally get my Barre Certification in February 2018. I enjoy teaching Barre, utilizing different types of tools from light weights, the mini ball, resistance bands, yoga blocks to slides! I love the full body workout you get from Barre and it’s all set to the beat of great music! I also enjoy taking Hot Yoga classes (taking Yoga Teacher Training soon!), running, HIIT and a variety of all types of exercises! I was born in Hawaii but moved to WA when I was young and have lived here all my life. I have a devoted, loving, handsome husband Glenn, who supports not only my dreams but my love of shopping and travel! We live in Seattle and have 3 beautiful daughters, Gisele, Gianele and Gabriele who are the light of our world. I have a passion for singing, spending time with family, weekend getaways and tropical vacations.
Kim began a consistent yoga practice after being injured and sidelined from marathon training one too many times. She soon realized that yoga provided an effective way to balance and heal not only her body, but allowed her space to attend to some much needed inner work as well. She received her 200 hour training in 2016 from 8 Limbs Seattle and has been teaching both Power Vinyasa and Hatha ever since. The intention behind her classes is cultivating a focus on thoughtful asana and breath work to build strength, balance, as well as a little calm and joy to bring back into world and the bodies we inhabit. Kim has 4 kids (ages 5-16), a dog, and a cat. When she’s not practicing or teaching, she spends her time on the trails, or carpooling. Mostly carpooling.
I love to run, mountain bike, hike and ski! That’s why I love living in our beautiful Snoqualmie Valley so much! I came to find myself on a yoga mat to prevent injury, but soon realized yoga empowered me with a mental awareness and clarity that I had never experienced before. So after over 15 years of practicing yoga, I felt the need to bring this transformative practice to others, and I became a yoga teacher in 2011. I’m a 200 hour ERYT and am currently working on my 500 hour RYT. I have completed much advanced trainings though the seven years I’ve been teaching yoga, Shakti’s Vinyasa’s Teacher Mentorship Program and TAP level 1 & 2, forty hour ‘Yoga Sutra Intensive’ teaching certification with Rod Stryker, have studied Mindfulness at UCLA, Meditation with GOOGLE’s SIYLI and am certified as a Reiki Master. I’ve also traveled to trane with some of my favorite teachers Dharma Mittra, Sarah Powers and Jon Kabat-Zinn who inspire me daily, on and off my mat. I truly believe yoga is a lifestyle, complete with transforming your body, mind and spirit. My classes are infused with fun, mindfully sequenced and filled with inspiration to help you come back to your inner power and beauty that is with in us all.
I am hatha/ vinyasa certified from a beautiful studio in Bali, Indonesia called the Power of Now (also one of my favorite books titles by Echkart Tolle). I began my practice about 5 years ago in college and did my training a year a half ago. I fell in love with the philosophy of yoga and how the practice was for everyone. It became my therapy and healed me through some tough times. Now I am beyond grateful to be guiding classes and learning daily from my students! I love that there’s always space to grow and connect with my body/ mind and other beautiful humans. In my classes I hold a safe space to be your authentic self and explore your bodies and minds. I enjoy challenging students with hard flows that make them fully present. Then I always end with a lengthy meditation to let the practice soak in and usually give out a little massage too, because my love language is touch and who doesn’t love a mini massage! I often incorporate some essential oils to deepen the relaxation process. I have grown up in Washington since I was 3 years old, but I haven’t lived here in 6 years! So I am keen to be back in the most beautiful state in America ;) When I’m not teaching I also life coach, nanny and help with events! During my free time I am constantly adventuring, hiking, traveling, learning more about natural medicine or volunteering. I love people and it makes my heart so happy when I connect with you glowing souls on the mat or at the studio! Always feel welcomed to come chat to me!
I am a native to the northwest and love living here. I have been teaching yoga since 2013. I have my 200 RYE certificate and since then I have been teaching yoga in Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah and Snoqualmie. I have lead weekend retreats in Port Townsend, Whidbey Island, Bainbridge Island and as far as Mexico. These days I keep it simple and teach, only in Sammamish, Issaquah and Snoqualmie. I enjoy teaching Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin. I am a mother of seven grown children and I love to scuba dive, hike with my two black labs and hang out with my grand babies as often as possible. My husband keeps me very busy with golfing, salmon fishing, crabbing and hanging out at the beach.
I did my 200hr teacher training in power vinyasa about 3 years ago with my mentor. I started teaching right away and have done so ever since. This is the style I love the most taking as a student. At the end of 2018 I added Yin Yoga to my cert and I absolutely love teaching it. I’ve done a few other workshops and trainings since I got my initial cert; The art of teaching beginners with Jason Crandell, Back bending with Kino MacGregor, Fluid Spine with Irene Pappas, and a few Wanderlust events. I’ll be doing an additional training in Bali this summer too. I love to practice balance poses and binds. Not sure I have just a few favorites but prolly Crow variations and Half moons are at the top of my list. I enjoy the level of focus and concentration they require :) I’ve also been a Spanish High school teacher for 10 years and last year I started also teaching yoga and meditation at my High School as a PE elective. I have a girl who is about to turn eight and I’ve lived in Snoqualmie for 12 years. My first language is Spanish and I’m raising my girl to be bilingual. I love rock climbing and paddleboarding! My little girl and I spend hours at the lake enjoying the view and the water any time of the year! :) I also enjoy traveling and have lived in 3 different continents so far. My teaching styles preferences: Yin, Power Vinyasa, Aerial, Meditation.
