Whether you are looking to actively teach yoga or simply wanting to dive deeper into a beautiful and life changing practice, you will benefit from this hybrid YTT 200-hour course. In addition to becoming a Yoga Alliance certified instructor, you will experience the following during the course: Class practice in our stunning Himalayan Salt Studio Deep learning about the history of yoga and it's evolution. Discussions on the Yoga Sutras. Exploring the yamas, niyamas, chakras, vayas, koshas as well as learning ways to incorporate these in your personal practice and your potential teachings. Anatomy lessons - learn how our bodies are intricately woven together, explore meridians and ways in which specific yoga asanas benefit us anatomically. Yoga class sequencing (quite possibly the most useful tool of all for new instructors) Education on the business of yoga including the importance of continuing education, staying connected to a community, and understanding your role within a studio and what to expect once you begin teaching. Introduction to playing sound bowls and incorporating them into a classroom setting. We would love to welcome you, no matter your experience. We understand 200 hours is A LOT and will work with you to accommodate your schedule to make this a possibility for your life.
